The Convocation and Degree Distribution Ceremony was organized with the following objectives:

3. To instill a sense of pride, responsibility, and readiness among graduates as they step into the professional world.
Event Overview
The Convocation and Degree Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2023–25 was successfully conducted on 24th April 2026 at Suryavanshi Hall, Dadar. The event was jointly organized by Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies and SVIMS B-School, Wadala (West).
The institute was privileged to welcome distinguished Chief Guests, Dr. R. K. Srivastava from Sydenham Institute of Management Studies and Dr. Tarun Agarwal from National Insurance Academy. Their insightful addresses inspired students to embrace the evolving global business environment with confidence and adaptability.
The ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from 143 graduating students representing PGDM (General), PGDM, and MMS programs. Faculty members, industry experts, and proud family members gathered to celebrate this significant milestone in the students’ academic journey.
Degree Distribution
Degrees and diplomas were formally conferred upon all graduating students, marking a proud and memorable moment in their academic careers. 4. SVIMS Global Ambassadors-Students who got the International Placement and Highest Packages.

Event Overview:
The Convocation and Degree Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2024-25 was successfully conducted on 14th April 2025 at the esteemed Suryavanshi Hall, Dadar. This grand occasion was jointly organized by Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Management and Studies and SVIMS B-School, Wadala (West).
We were honored to have Mr. Nitin Tike, General Manager at NISM, Mumbai, Maharashtra, as the Chief Guest for the ceremony. His presence and insightful address added immense value to the event, inspiring graduates to embrace global transitions in the dynamic world of business.
The celebration saw the enthusiastic participation of 140 students from diverse postgraduate management programs, including PGDM (Internship General and Banking & Finance) and MMS. Faculty members, industry guests, and proud families came together to commemorate the academic achievements and promising future of the graduating batch.
Degree Distribution
Degrees and diplomas were formally awarded to all graduating students, marking a major milestone in their educational journey. Faculty and dignitaries congratulated students for their hard work and perseverance, encouraging them to pursue excellence in their future endeavors.

Report on Convocation 2020-2022 Batch
This year the SVIMS convocation ceremony for the batch (2020-22) was organized on 25 th March 2023, Saturday at Kohinoor Banquet Hall, Dadar. Dr.Vinita Pimpale was the guest of honour for the occasion. The program started with the parade ceremony following which the dignitaries took their positions on the dais. Welcome address for the occasion was given by our Director Dr. Purushottam Patil, following which Mr. Parthasarathi Naik, President of NKES society addressed the crowd. Esteemed trustee Mr. Anant Banwasi sir felicitated the guest of honour with a Tulsi Sapling. Then after the introduction of guest, the oath ceremony for the students took place headed by Dr. Vasumathy Hariharan (Prof. Dean SVIMS).
The students were very happy while collecting their degrees and getting blessed by such an eminent personality. The students from both the stream i.e., MMS & PGDM got their degrees. The awards for the “Academic Excellence” were also given to nine students on the basis of their marks scored overall performance during the course tenure. The convocation address was given by Dr. Vinita Pimpale, Vice Principal R A Poddar College of Commerce & Economics. The speech was very interesting and motivating for the young managers entering the corporate world. After the vote of thanks ceremony, the students enjoyed the management games
and DJ session along with lots of selfies at the selfie booth, had their dinner and parted with happy memories. The event was equally liked by one and all present on the occasion.
