Sir M.Visvesvaraya Day - Elocution Competition

Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies & Research organized an Elocution
Competition on “Sir M Visvesvaraya day” commonly known as “Engineer’s Day” on 15th
September 2022. The competition was organized so that the participants can express their
thoughts on one of the greatest human beings and engineers that India has ever produced. Our
Director Dr. Purshottam Patil started with a brief introduction and remembered Sir M,
Visvesvaraya. Later on the participants from the MMS 2021-23 batch shared their thoughts
and contributions made by Sir M, Visvesvaraya in different fields. Ten participants
participated and later on the winner and runner ups were declared. The winner and the runner
ups were rewarded with a cash prize. Ms. Nevin Mathew bagged the 1st spot followed by Mr.
Hrithik Salve and Ms. Asmita Borkar, the 4th prize was bagged by a student sitting in the
audience. Mr Nikhil Yashwante bagged the 4th spot. Later the event came to an end by
singing the National Anthem.
