Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SVIMS) welcomed their
Alumni on Saturday 13th January ’24 at The Suryavanshi Banquet Hall, Dadar, Mumbai.
The Alumni Association of SVIMS organised “SVIMSpire ’24 a programme to connect and
bring together its prestigious Alumni. The alumni meet reconnected from batches 2010 to
2023 and each one celebrated the success of the Institute and shared their professional
success. The Alumni were received by the registration team and thereafter proceeded with the registration formalities. Each Alumni was presented with a momento as a token of
appreciation from the Institute. The Alumni Meet started with games to interconnect the
batches. The winners of the various games were presented with chocolates. Further, SVIMS Director Dr. Purshottam Patil then welcomed the Alumni. He presented the Institute report on the academic and non-academic activities undertaken.
Some “Distinguished Alumni” were felicitated by the director and Faculty members. Alumni also interacted with the students and gave motivational talk regarding preparing for studies and placements. Students asked many questions regarding placements and the alumni shared their views. Post this there was a DJ session and selfies at the selfie booth. A photo session was taken with all the Alumni present at the occasion. The Alumni, faculty members, staff and students enjoyed a scrumptious dinner and parted with happy memories. The event was equally appreciated by one and all present on the occasion.
