SAMARTH (Seminar Series)

Mr. Anusheel Shrivastava, Director & Co-Lead (Insights West), Kantar India conducted a Samarth Seminar on the Topic- ‘Research: Kal, Aaj aur Kal…’. He covered the basics of market research and highlighted the paradigm shift of how the research used to take place before, and how it is done now? 

Mr. Prashant Shetty, Vice President, Transcorp Enterprises Limted, , conducted a ‘Samrth Seminar’ to address our SY MMS & PGDM students on the topic ‘Forex Business in India’.  Sir focussed on the importance of Forex business in the lives of people from different backgrounds and shared his story and experience being an industry veteran from last 30 years. Students who had done their Summer Internship at Transcorp Enterprises Limited were given a chance towards the end of the session to share their learnings, experience and their feedback about the company.

CA Pankaj Thakkar, Founder-Unistar India, had been invited for a ‘Samrth Seminar’ to address our SY MMS & PGDM students on the topic ‘Campus to Corporate: Things that matter!’.  Many organizations find young professionals unemployable because they lack the necessary skills to become employable.  Sir Focussed on the importance of becoming expert in your field of study and importance of persevering while doing what you have decided to do.

Mr. Ajimon Francis, MD, Brand Finance- India, had been invited for a ‘Samrth Seminar’ to address our SY MMS & PGDM students on the topic ‘Changing landscape in Brand Strategy – need for multi-disciplinary understanding for MBA pass outs in this current market situation’. Students learnt about the basic metrics required for a business to succeed and realized the importance of multidisciplinary approach for their career growth in future.

CA Vimal Ashar, Founder, VK Ashar & Associates conducted a ‘Samrth Seminar’ to address our SY MMS & PGDM students on the topic ‘Budget 2024 and its impact on the common man’.  Sir highlighted the important points from the budget and made students realize the importance of spending mindfully. The session was an eye opener on how much money can be saved if we limit our desires and eliminate the fear of missing out.
